Crowther's various words

As video games continue to look more realistic, it is perhaps a natural consequence that the female characters of the games start to get more desirable to the male video game player. Maybe this is perhaps a reflection on my own incredibly built up sexual frustration that what in reality are lines of code and animation are beginning to entice me. Perhaps the origin of the sexy video game character came with the creation of the tomb raider series, but I'd say the first video game that I ever said man that character is gorgeous was Shenmue. Nozomi did look quite stunning in her short skirt and knee high socks. The most real life like characters though that I have ever seen in a video game though came from Final Fantasy X, the cut scenes were truly breathtaking and being so life-like, it was hard not to think of the main female character Yuna as a total babe, and Lulu with her low cut dress and Rikku not wearing a whole lot as well. Obviously, video game makers know that having a game hottie may lead to more sales of a game now things look a whole lot more real, this is quite clear from the making of the Xtreme beach vollyball game which only real purpose of buying was for the girls in bikinis. Note I never sunk that low and actually bought this game, I only think having a sexy character is an added bonus to a game, e.g. Final Fantasy I think would have been an absolutly brilliant game without having sexy female and I still would have bought it none the less. Interestingly, there is a japanese porn video called Final Fuck X where the female characters dress up in the outfits of the games female characters.
All this realism though I believe really benefits the game, the final fantasy cut scenes made the game I feel as they really developed the games characters extremely well, the romance between Yuna and Tidus was one of the games real strong points, I've always loved games to have a good storyline to them, it adds to the whole experiance. But as I said, the consequence of realism is that its gonna be harder for the male game player to not consider the sexyness of some computer polygons.
One a side note, I can't wait till the day when a final fantasy game looks entirely like it did in the real life cut scenes, those console days when everything looks real are going to be sweet. Can't wait for Final Fantasy X-2 as well coming out soon, Square have in a shameless attempt to appeal to its male players had Yuna and Rikku wear even more skimpy clothing, should be very interesting.

Only just found out from some S.H.E message board that one of their best song was originally done by Destiny's Child and was called Brown Eyes. After taking a listen to it, it's nice to be able to understand all the lyrics (i.e. they are in English as compared to chinese) but I definatly don't think Beyonce sounds as nice as Selina, Hebe or Ella, plus chinese lyrics seem to fit the music better. I've never much liked Destiny's Child much anyhow.

In other S.H.E news, their next album will be out in a few days, Super Star. I've listened to the title track and it's really good although a different S.H.E sound, a rock kind of sound. Can't wait to hear it all

Well, the website now is in its first stages of creation, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with it, I'll probably end up giving up on it after a few weeks, with the novelty wearing off but we'll see how it goes. This free service for posting these thoughts is really good, I just wish I knew more html to sort out the colors a bit though.
